For families, campervan enthusiasts and music lovers looking for a relaxed summer festival near Eastbourne, Camper Marmalade 2026 promises a fun-filled weekend packed with live entertainment, camping and community spirit.

Taking place from 12–14 June 2026 at Bramley Farm in Polegate, the festival has grown into one of East Sussex’s most popular family camping events.

From the The Lansdowne Hotel in Eastbourne, Camper Marmalade is approximately a 20–25 minute drive depending on traffic. Visitors without a car can also travel by train from Eastbourne to Polegate in around 10 minutes, followed by the festival’s free Stagecoach shuttle bus service directly to the site.

Held at Bramley Farm on Bay Tree Lane, the festival combines the atmosphere of a traditional campervan gathering with the excitement of a modern family festival. Originally started by a small group of campervan owners meeting around a campsite campfire, Camper Marmalade has evolved into a major annual event celebrating campervan culture, live music and outdoor living.

One of the biggest attractions of Camper Marmalade is its friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The festival welcomes campervans, motorhomes, caravans, tents and day visitors, creating a diverse community feel across the weekend. Volkswagen campervans remain at the heart of the event, but all vehicle types are welcome, making it accessible to everyone who enjoys camping and festival culture.

The 2026 festival introduces several new features including an expanded quiet family camping area, a dedicated VIP section, a cabaret tent and an upgraded kids zone. Families can enjoy inflatable obstacle courses, foam pits, laser tag, water zorbing and craft activities, while adults can relax with live music, DJs and street food throughout the site.

Music plays a huge role in the festival experience, with tribute acts, live bands and DJs performing across the weekend. Early announcements for 2026 include appearances from iconic 1980s bands including The Blow Monkeys and China Crisis, alongside tribute acts and party bands covering rock, disco, ska and indie classics.

Food and drink are another major highlight. Visitors can expect a large variety of street food traders, cocktail bars, craft beer stands and festival favourites spread across the arena. Market stalls selling clothing, campervan accessories, gifts and festival merchandise also create a lively shopping area during the event.

For guests staying at the The Lansdowne Hotel, the festival makes an ideal day trip while still allowing visitors to enjoy Eastbourne’s elegant seafront, restaurants and beaches. The hotel itself sits directly on Eastbourne promenade and provides easy access to local transport links and nearby attractions including Beachy Head and the South Downs National Park.

Whether attending for the music, the campervan culture or simply a fun family weekend outdoors, Camper Marmalade 2026 offers a welcoming and memorable festival experience just a short journey from Eastbourne.
