Ceremony in The Martello, wedding breakfast in the Lawns and party time in Duke’s! All of our spaces are designed to ensure your big day flows just as you imagined.



A light and elegant space for a civil ceremony or wedding perfect for guests of two (we can be your witnesses on the day) to seventy. It includes original features, muted tones and large bay windows with a view of the Martello Tower and The Western Lawns.




The Lawns Room is adjacent to the Martello Room and can accommodate up to 70 guests for a wedding breakfast. It features large bay windows for maximum daylight and to enjoy the sea view. The Lawns Room features the same muted tones to enable a consistent colour scheme for your wedding.



The recently refurbished Duke’s is located on the lower ground floor. Furnished in an Art Deco manner, with sumptuous deep red interior, perfect to set the tone for the evening’s celebration. Complete with stage, private bar and lift access to the ground floor. Duke’s is the perfect space for the biggest of celebrations.
For the ultimate wedding please speak with us for you to have exclusive use of the whole hotel with all function rooms, lounges, bar, restaurant and 98 bedrooms just for your wedding party. The ultimate day to remember!
Yes. Although we have a list of suppliers we have worked with previously and can recommend, you are welcome to use your own suppliers. Please note for DJ’s and entertainment, public insurance liability documents and proof of PAT testing must be submitted.
The Lawns and Martello are available for Dry Hire purposes and you may bring your own caterers. Valid insurance and food hygiene certification will be required before the hire will be confirmed. We will not permit anybody to provide their own alcohol (other than wine for which a corkage fee per bottle will be applied) and any bar services must be provided by the hotel.
Subject to availability, we can allocate a specific dining area for your wedding party to ensure you can enjoy breakfast together.
Last orders for drinks will be called at 11:45pm and the bar will close and music will stop at midnight. In the event of exclusive use of the hotel, an application can be made to extend the hours.
The deposit is £500 and is non-refundable or transferrable to any other event. 50% of the remaining balance is to be paid six months prior to the wedding. With full payment due six weeks prior to the big day.
Yes, subject to availability, it is not essential to book the whole wedding day with us. We offer rooms for ceremony only and for evening celebrations only.
